A call means AP has declared a winner. Results remain unofficial until certified.
AP race calls and vote data via NPR’s public election files. Headlines from NPR and its member stations. No credentials or paid API. Publisher files can change or become unavailable; the last good snapshot is retained and labeled.
Cloudflare checks the public NPR/AP files every two minutes, even while your Mac is off. This page refreshes its saved snapshot every 5 minutes, preserving state selection, filters and scroll position. Updates briefly wait while a state selector is focused or text is selected. Publisher caching and distributed storage can add delay. Last good results are retained during failures and labeled stale.
Publisher updated is the file’s Last-Modified timestamp, fetched is our retrieval time, and individual AP call times come from winner timestamps. Totals and individual race files are published separately; any discrepancy is disclosed. The local version has its own optional Python updater.
This independently operated dashboard is not an election authority and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AP, NPR or any political party. AP race calls and vote data are provided via NPR's public reporting. Results are unofficial until certified. A media call is not certification; vote leads and forecasts are not wins. Files may be incomplete, delayed, corrected or unavailable. Check the source timestamps and original publisher links before relying on a result. Third-party reporting and data remain the property of their respective owners.
